This Privacy Policy covers Bold Buffer, LLC\ndba Safe Lighthouse (\u201cSafe Lighthouse\u201d) policies on the\ncollection, use, and disclosure of  personally identifiable information, Personal\nData (as defined by GDPR), and Persona Information (as defined by CCPA) (collectively\nreferred to as \u201cPersonal Data\u201d) when visitors and Consumers (as defined by the\nCCPA) (collectively \u201cUsers\u201d) access www.safelighthouse.com<\/a> (\u201cSite\u201d) and\/or the Safe Lighthouse mobile applications\n(collectively the \u201cPlatform\u201d) and the software and services made\navailable through the Platform (collectively the \u201cServices\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe Lighthouse, Inc. is California corporation with offices in the United States. Safe Lighthouse collects Personal Data from its users around the world and processes, transfers and stores data within the United States.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 By checking the \u201cI consent to the Privacy Policy\u201d box and subject to your opt-in\/opt-out preferences, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure practices identified in this Privacy Policy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. What Information Is Collected by Safe Lighthouse And How Is It Used?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Account\nCreation Information:  <\/strong>When purchasing a product or service through the Site, Users  <\/strong>must\nprovide their first name, last name, email and payment information. The\ncollection of this information is necessary to fulfill our contractual\nobligations and to provide the Services to you. \nYour email may also be utilized to (i) provide information regarding our\nServices; and\/or (ii) to communicate material changes to our Terms of Service\nand Privacy Policy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Email Addresses & Contact Information:  <\/strong>Users may optionally provide their email address and\/or other contact\ninformation to Safe Lighthouse to contact us through the Platform with\nquestions about our Platform and Services.  <\/strong>Users may also optionally subscribe to\nour newsletters and may unsubscribe at any time through the opt-out link\ncontained within those communications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cookies:<\/strong>\u00a0 Safe Lighthouse utilizes cookie technology to gather information on Internet use in order to serve its Users more effectively. As described in Section 2, Safe Lighthouse also utilizes third party analytics services which may also use tracking cookies to provide information about the use of our Platform. Users can set your browser to remove or reject cookies and\/or accept or refuse cookies on the cookie consent banner on the site itself; however, some Platform features or Services may not work properly without cookies.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Is Information Collected By Or Disclosed To Third Parties? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe Lighthouse\ndoes not sell, rent, or lease Personal Data to any third parties.  <\/strong>Information is\ncollected to facilitate the Services offered or for internal analysis relating\nto product improvements.   As required by\napplicable law, including, but not limited to, GDPR & CCPA, Safe Lighthouse has in place Data Processing\nAddendum(s) with those subprocessors that process end-user Personal Data to\nensure compliance with obligations under applicable data protection laws and\nregulations.  Personal Data collected is\nprocessed by the following service providers to facilitate provision of the\nServices on the Platform as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrated\nAPI\u2019s:<\/strong>  Safe\nLighthouse has integrated an API from Location, Inc. to\nutilize geolocation information to provide demographic, crime, business and\nother information relating to the location of various properties, neighborhoods\nand regions identified by User. Web Hosting Services<\/strong>:  The Site and Personal Data collected is stored\non cloud servers maintained by WPEngine. For more\ninformation on its privacy policy, please see the WPEngine Privacy Policy<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer\nServices Support:  <\/strong>Safe Lighthouse utilizes MailChimp<\/a> to communicate with you by exchanging service-related\nnotifications.  Please see the MailChimp\nhyperlink for more information on their data collection and use practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anonymous Data – Analytics<\/strong>: Safe\nLighthouse  utilizes Google Analytics,  a web analytics tool which collects\ninformation anonymously. It provides a report to Safe Lighthouse with website\ntrends without identifying individual visitors. \nFor more information on its privacy policy,\nplease see:  Privacy Policy<\/a>. However, if you do not want your Personal Data to be used\nby Google Analytics, you may opt-out by installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third\nParty Advertising\/Re-Targeting Services<\/strong>: When\naccessing the Platform, third party advertising services may place a cookie on\nyour browser, which may be used to target relevant advertisements to you when\nyou visit third party websites.  Users\nmay opt-out from receiving targeted advertisements by visiting the (1) Network Advertising Consumer Opt-Out<\/a> page, (2) Digital Advertising Alliance\nOpt-Out<\/a> page, and\/or (3) the opt-out provisions pertaining to the\napplicable advertising services\/retargeting provider. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Plug-Ins<\/strong>: Users may follow Safe\nLighthouse and\/or share information on Facebook<\/a>, Twitter<\/a>, Pinterest<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>, LinkedIn<\/a>,  Quora<\/a> and Reddit’s Privacy Policy<\/a> Users\nshould click on the hyperlinks for each site to review the applicable privacy\npolicies for more detail about information collected by these sites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third Party Links<\/strong>.   To enable Users to access\nrelevant information from a wide variety of sources, Safe Lighthouse may place\nthird party links to enable Users to access information directly from such\nthird parties (for example, the Center for Disease Control or the U.S. State\nDepartment for health and travel safety-related information). Safe Lighthouse\nis not responsible for the data collection and privacy policies of the entities\nsupporting the third party links, and Users should review the applicable\nprivacy policies for more detail about information collected from these sites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will use commercially reasonable efforts\nto notify users about law enforcement or court ordered requests for data unless\notherwise prohibited by law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How Does Safe Lighthouse Comply With The Children\u2019s Online Privacy Protection Act and GDPR Regulations Relating to Children?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only persons age 18 or older are authorized to make a purchase from Safe Lighthouse. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18.\u00a0 If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her minor child (as defined by the applicable privacy rules or regulations pertaining to\u00a0 the minor child) has provided us with Personal Data without their consent, he or she should contact Safe Lighthouse at privacy@safelighthouse.com<\/a>. We will delete such Personal Data from our files within a commercially reasonable time, but no later than required under the applicable law relating the child\u2019s country of residence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. How Long Does Safe Lighthouse Retain Personal Data Collected? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will retain account and purchase data as long as it is necessary to provide our Services to Users.\u00a0 Personal Data obtained from Site visitors will be maintained as long as it is necessary to provide requested communications and information-based services or until a Visitor exercises its right to opts-out of requested communications or information-based services.\u00a0 Anonymized, de-identified and Pseudo-anonymized data will be retained as long as Safe Lighthouse determines such data is commercially necessary for it legitimate business interests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
